Terms of Service
1. The service
Actual Taste makes posters, menus and social cards for small businesses from a short message, operated by mSales Norway AS (Kristiansand, Norway). Previews are free and watermarked. Clean, print-ready files are unlocked with credits. By using the site you accept these terms.
2. Accounts
You sign in with an email link. You are responsible for what happens through your account. Keep access to your email secure; one person per account.
3. Credits and payment
- Credits are bought in packs, priced as shown at checkout in your currency. One credit unlocks one poster in every format; a set of item cards costs one more credit. Credits do not expire.
- Payment is handled by Stripe or Dintero (Vipps). Credits are added when the provider confirms the payment.
- A credit is spent when a clean render is delivered. If a render fails, the credit is returned automatically.
- Credits are not refundable once spent. Unspent credits can be refunded on request within 14 days of purchase. Made a mistake or unhappy with a result? Email [email protected] and we will be reasonable.
- Prices may change; changes never affect credits you already hold.
4. Your content and your posters
The text you type, and any logo or payment code you upload, remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them to make your posters, and you confirm you have the right to use what you upload. The posters we deliver to you are yours: you may print, post and share them for any purpose, commercial included, with no attribution required.
The hero image on a poster is generated by an AI model from a description of an object. It is unique to your poster, but similar objects may appear on other customers' posters, and we cannot guarantee the image is free of resemblance to existing works. Check the poster before you print it.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful, deceptive or hateful content, for content that impersonates others, or to promote regulated products where advertising is prohibited. Do not attempt to bypass the preview watermark, the credit system or the rate limits, and do not scrape the service. We may refuse or remove posters and suspend accounts that do.
6. Availability and liability
This is a small service provided "as is". We aim to keep it fast and reliable but make no uptime guarantees, and AI generation can occasionally fail or produce an odd result. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice and a way to download your posters.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law, with venue in Kristiansand, Norway. Consumers in the EU/EEA keep the protections of their local law.
