Buffet sign · all you can eat · price list

A buffet sign with a plate you actually serve.

Every buffet sign in every strip mall is the same: a glossy stock photo of food nobody there has ever cooked, and prices in a starburst. Lucky Wok typed its prices and took one photo of a plate on the way back from the trays. The photo is framed on the poster, the prices are set in type, and the 16:9 version goes on the screen above the counter.

Why it works

A phone photo of a real plate replaces the generated object. Nothing about the food is invented.
Two sections, seven prices, exactly as typed: eat in and takeaway. Notes carry the hours.
The same list prints for the door, goes 16:9 for the screen behind the counter, and posts as a square.
