Menu template · menu board
A menu template that is already a menu.
Fern & Grain sells coffee and toast. Most menu templates hand you a layout and leave the typing to you. Here the typing is the whole job: write the items and prices, and the menu, the menu board and the item cards come out set in type.

What the owner typed
“Fern & Grain in Austin, menu: espresso 3, flat white 4.5, cold brew 4.5, chai 4; toast: avocado chili lime 9, ricotta and honey 8, peanut butter banana 7; cardamom bun 4, cookie 3. Oat milk is free, wifi is not”
Why it works
- Twelve items in up to three sections. Leader dots take each price to the edge, so the eye never hunts.
- The 16:9 version is a digital menu board: put it on the TV behind the counter and it reads from the door.
- Each item with a description becomes its own square card, the same object photographed the same way, for a week of posts.
